Hocks

Hocks, also known as ham hocks or pork knuckles, are cut from the joint between the feet and the leg. They are highly valued in many cuisines for their meaty flavor and collagen-rich tendons.

Due to their unique properties, ham hocks are often used to make stews and braises thicker and more flavorful. They are a popular addition to dishes like stewed collard greens and baked beans.
